Denver HIV Resources Planning Council
Our mission is to assist in the coordination of high quality, culturally proficient delivery of HIV/AIDS services in the Denver Transitional Grant Area (TGA).
About the Council
The Denver HIV Resources Planning Council, a mayoral-appointed
Board and
Commission of the City and County of Denver and a project of the
Colorado
Nonprofit Development Center, develops a plan for the delivery of HIV care services
in the Denver Transitional Grant Area (TGA) and establishes service categories,
prioritizes needs, and allocates resources for the use of Part A (Title I) Ryan White
Program funds. The Denver TGA includes Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas
and Jefferson counties. The Council was established in 1993 when the cumulative
AIDS cases exceeded 2000, making the TGA eligible for Ryan White Program funding.
